I wash clothes in cold or tap cold water but when I open the door to take clothes out they feel warm and I have had some clothes to shrink.What setting should I use so no shrinking

We just installed GE 850SSWNW front load washer. It was working fine until the final spin cycle. It shaked loudly and knocked machine around. We don’t have the installation manual. I read the review that people have said to remove some extra packing stuff from the back of the machine. Can you tell me what it is that we are suppose to remove from the back of the machine.
