Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine (TUNCOM) has grown into a highly respected medical education institution since its inception in 2004. TUNCOM continues its impressive dedication to increasing the Nevada physician workforce in both primary and specialty care.

TUNCOM has received the highest level of osteopathic medical school accreditation through the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA): it received a ten-year accreditation with exceptional outcome in 2022.
TUNCOM’s outcomes impress through high levels of Board Examination performance and Residency Match/Placement.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Touro University Nevada Osteopathic Medicine program is to prepare students to become outstanding osteopathic physicians who uphold the values, philosophy, and practice of osteopathic medicine and who are committed to primary care and the holistic approach to the patient. The program advances the profession and serves its students and society through innovative pre-doctoral and post-doctoral education, research, community service, and multidisciplinary and Osteopathic clinical services.

Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine (TUNCOM) is housed in a single 200,000+ square foot state-of-the-art education facility in Henderson, NV. The education facilities include modern learning laboratories, lecture halls, and anextensive network of small-group learning spaces and study rooms.
Touro University Nevada houses a cutting-edge simulation center with a central two-tiered teaching theater and a dedicated ultrasound laboratory. You have access to support systems andopportunities for student/life balance and stress relief, utilizing Student Support Services (OASIS), Student Counseling Center, and the Wellness Center- a dance/yoga studio, a well-appointed fitness gym, and a basketball and volleyball court.
You willalso have the opportunity to work closely with faculty, completing hands-on research in our three dedicated research labs. In addition to the College of Osteopathic Medicine, Touro University Nevada houses the College of Health and Human Services, whichdelivers modern health education for Nursing, Physician Assistant Studies, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy programs.
This environment provides an excellent opportunity for inter-professional educational experiences all under one roof. The Universityalso offers a multi-specialty physician’s office. The Health Center at Touro University Nevada is staffed by practicing faculty members, is open to the community, and provides on-site learning opportunities for students.
Student Residence Options
The University has over 30 student clubs and organizations that help create community within the campus. Focusing on a variety of aspects such as affinity connections, professional development, community engagement, and recreation, students have many opportunities to connect, grow, and contribute.
There is a vibrant student life comprising activities coordinated by students, the Department of Student Involvement, Student Counseling Services, Student Support Services, and the Department of Diversity, Inclusion, and Outreach. All medical and healthcare programs participate in interprofessional activities to facilitate learning of all sides of the healthcare team.
The University's mission is rooted in service, and students start participating in service activities on day one of their Touro Nevada experience.
